Concert by the musicians of Lyon Opera Orchestra
Since June 22, 2020, the musicians of Lyon Opera Orchestra have been traveling the City of Lyon and the Metropolis of Lyon to meet their audiences for 11 chamber music concerts. These concerts, given for everyone and hosted in a wide variety of places, made the afternoon of a stopover in the garden of the Bullukian Foundation.

Meeting and projection
On the last day of the exhibition “Le monde est une invention sans futur”, the Bullukian Foundation welcomes artist Andrea Mastrovito for a last exceptional meeting with the public. Punctuated by discussions with the exhibition curator Fanny Robin, this evening was the occasion to exclusively show extracts from the artist’s new film: “I am not a legend”.

Carried out in partnership with Grame, the National Center for Musical Creation, the “Sound and Visual Arts” project invited students from the Saint-Marc Professional High school (Lyon) to explore the links between visual arts and sound creations. The restitution of this transdisciplinary educational project took place on January 24, 2020, with a live performance by the students in the art center of the Bullukian Foundation.

Winner of the 2017 Bullukian Prize, Guillaume Barth presents for the first time in the garden of the Bullukian Foundation his project “Concert pour une Nouvelle Forêt”. Performed on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition by pianist Neus Estarellas, his surprising musical scores attempt to transcribe the communication of 130 oak trees.

On the occasion of the opening of the Tutundjian / Di Fabio exhibition and the second edition of the Léon Tutundjian Foundation Days, the quartet of the Tisseurs de Sons Academy offers an original concert of Komitas-Aslamazyan and Borodine works, linked with the works of artists Léon Tutundjian and Alberto Di Fabio.

On the occasion of the opening of the Tutundjian / Di Fabio exhibition and the second edition of the Léon Tutundjian Foundation Days, Guitemie Maldonado, art historian and author of a doctorate on biomorphism in Western art from between the two world wars, is invited to share her view on the work of the avant-garde artist, Léon Tutundjian.
