The Confluence des savoirs association promotes dialog between research and creation through a series of conference, free and open to all. Each meeting brings together artists and researchers who strive to offer a new perspective on the world.
Created in 2002 on the initiative of Michel Cotet, François Juillet and Jean-Pierre Claveranne, Confluence des savoirs association brings together eleven public and independent partners (Musée des Confluences, ENS de Lyon and several Lyon’s foundations working in the scientific, educational or cultural fields) around the organization of transdisciplinary conference cycles accessible to the greatest number.
Combining the fields of research and creation around a common reflection, this platform for meetings and exchanges combines, six to seven times a year, the words of an artist and a scientist on a social subject.
The cycle of meetings are freely accessible to the general public through public conferences and their online replay.
Convinced that the convergence of disciplines contributes to enriching our relationship with the world, the Bullukian Foundation is a member of the Confluence des Savoirs association.
